Stop Letting Your Machine Brand Dictate Your Parts
Let’s be honest: being locked into one brand for your PET blow-molding parts is a headache. We decided to fix that. We make infrared heating lamps that just work—whether you’re running ADS blowers or pretty much any other machine on the market. We’ve standardized the electrical and physical fit so you can just pop them in and get back to work. No drama, no special adapters.
The Trick to Getting the Heat Right
Getting a preform to that perfect glass transition temperature is a balancing act. You want it hot enough to stretch, but not so hot that you scorch the plastic. We build our tubes to match your actual power supply. If you’re on a standard 230V or a beefier 400V system, we’ve got you covered. Here is the interesting part: higher voltage lets us use a thinner filament. That creates a tighter, more concentrated beam of heat. It makes the preform heat up faster. The trade-off? It puts a bit more stress on the quartz glass. That’s why we don’t cut corners on the materials.
The Nitty-Gritty Stuff
We use heavy-wall quartz glass. Why? Because when things get incredibly hot, cheap glass bows. Ours stays straight. For the connectors, we stick to the basics—R7s or SK15. You can wire them up to your existing sockets without having to modify a single thing. Plus, many of our lamps have a special coating. It pushes the heat inward toward the preform instead of letting it leak out. This saves energy and, more importantly, keeps the outside of your machine from becoming a furnace.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
These fit over 95% of the blowers out there because we’re obsessive about the measurements. If a lamp is off by even 2mm, it won’t sit right in the reflector. That leads to uneven heating or, worse, a burnt-out lamp. We make sure that doesn’t happen. One quick tip: if you’re pushing these lamps to their max wattage, your cooling fans are going to work harder. Check your vents. If they’re clogged with dust, your socket housing can overheat. Keep the air moving, and your lamps will last a lot longer.
